#AriaNightOut Look No.1

What’s your ‘Get Ready Routine’? We all have one. Some people are a fan of going to a friend’s house and jumping around to popular songs while trying out new looks. Personally? That’s not for me. I can easily take 2 hours to get ready if I try hard enough. So my ‘Get Ready Routine’ involves me, my makeup, some iced tea and a playlist aptly titled ‘Tun Up Time’. I was recently contacted by Vegas.com regarding looks for that I would wear for a night out at the Aria Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. This look involves some pretty bold lips — so brace yourselves.

Begin by priming your eyes with MAC’s Pro Longwear Concealer. Blend this in with your fingers to ensure even distribution. The body heat also helps in this, so if you’ve used a brush to apply the concealer — go back in with your fingers (at this point, you would have already done your usual foundation routine)

Fill in your brows using either a dark brown matter shadow, brow pomade or brow pencil. For this I used L'Oreal's HIP Duo in Shady and Revlon's Double-Ended Smokey Eye brush.

Apply a transition shade to your crease using the Bdellium Tools 785 brush to properly diffuse the colour. The transition shade will help to blend all your other colours together. It also keeps your from looking like all you did was swipe some random eyeshadow onto your lids.

Your transition shade should be something that’s not too dark, nor too light. It will be a neutral shade that adds very slight definition. It also keeps your from looking like all you did was sweep some random eye shadow onto your lids.

Apply Diamonds Are Forever by the Sephora Collection all over the lids, ensuring that you don't go above the crease and to go right into the inner corners.

Using the Real Techniques detailer brush, apply OCC's Lip Tar in Rx all over the lips. After this colour has dried, place a little lip tar in the shade Rollergirl right in the centre.

Multiple coats of your favourite mascara (I used Bobbi Brown Smokey Eye Mascara), line your eyes with your chose black pencil (I went Black Lace by The Sephora Collection). Finish off with some powder and setting spray, and that's it!

Apply a little blush to the apple of your cheeks to add some dimension. Pull this entire look together with light powder and setting spray, and there you have it!
