MAC's Mulch

Mulch is a shimmery brown shadow, one that is slightly red-toned; it has a velvet finish. It applies and blends very smoothly, and it’s also quite pigmented. It works especially well with the MAC 239 brush if applying it to the lid. I use it as a transition colour when doing a brown or black brown smokey eye. This shade also works well if you first put a matte beige shadow all over the eye and blend this into the crease for slight depth, or used alone all over the eye — great for school or work. Mulch would work very well with the following MAC shades: Sumptuous Olive, Cranberry, Beauty Marked or Sketch, Amber Lights, Expensive Pink, and Grain.
